The total carpet area of the Central Library is 300 square metre. This consists of reading space, 100 reading seats, stack section, reference section, journal section and separate digital library.
The total number of books and reference books available is 27933 Journals - 26, Magazines - 37 and Newspapers - 5.
The following electronic resources are available in the library: E-Books (435000), E–Journals (6237), Open Access Journal and Repositories. The library has a Blog and a Website. It also provides unlimited internet access.

Organization of the Collection
The Documents are classified according to Dewey Decimal Classification and catalogued according the AACR. The Library follows Open Access System.
The Library provides regular membership to the Students, Teachers & Researchers of the College. Other staff members of the college also can avail the service of the library as and when needed.
E-Mail Alert and other Web based Services
For the last several years, library is providing several web based services such as E-Mail Alert Services, Notification of new books added to the library, technical events and other news etc. Towards this purpose, the library maintains two E-Mail Groups, one for Teacher Users and the other for Student Users.
The Library is opened for 7 hours a day, that is, from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm, except on Sundays and public holidays. The circulation desk will function from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. Reference and other services can be availed till 4.30 pm.
Rules of the Library:
All students of the college are members of the Library.
The central library and information system will function on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Students are expected to make the best use of it.
Silence shall be observed in the Library and Reading Room.
Each under-graduate student will be given two borrower’s cards and post-graduate student will be given five borrower’s card and books will be issued against their borrower’s card only.
Books borrowed from the Library can be kept for a maximum period of
14 days at a time, they can renew for two times.
Students can make avail of e-books and e-journals provided by the library via. computer / laptop or mobile phone.
The students should return the books on the due date itself, otherwise they should pay a fine of Rs. 1/- for each day. No fine will be charged for holidays.
A student who returns the book should get back the borrower’s card.
Borrowers will be held responsible for any damage caused to a book. If a book is damaged or lost, he/she will have to replace it or pay the cost of the book at the current rates.
Members are not allowed to sub-lend the books of the library.
Members of the Library are forbidden from making markings in the books or periodicals.
The borrowers cards issued to the students should be returned at the end of the course.
In the case of necessity, the Librarian has the right to recall a book from any member at any time.
Any matter not covered by the rules given above shall be decided by the Principal who reserves the right to amend or add to these rules.
Besides the Central Library, department libraries are also functioning. Students can borrow books from the department libraries also.
