I completed my Ph.D. from Department of Environmental Science, Kariavattom Campus, University of Kerala. I have Four years experience in Kerala State Biodiversity Board, Thiruvananthapuram. My fields of specialization include Environmental Toxicology, Biodiversity, Fresh water Ecology and Taxonomy of freshwater benthos. I have published 46 papers in peer- reviewed national and international journals and books. I also have published 5 Books. I edited two books. I have presented my research papers in various International and National conferences/ seminars. I have also participated in around 48 National and International seminars/Conferences. I have completed GIS course from Annamalai University Tamil Nadu. I actively engaged in bird watching. During this period I have reported Leucistic Common Moorhen at Vellayani Lake, first time in Kerala and Wooly Necked Stork in Thiruvananthapuram city. I am a Research Guide in Zoology under University of Kerala. Currently five students are doing Ph.D. under my supervision.
