The Department offers B. Sc. / M.Sc. Programme in Botany.

The Department offers Core Course in B. Sc. Botany and Complementary course in B.Sc. Zoology.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a citizen of India. He/ She must have completed Intermediate studies from a recognized board. The candidate must have studied Science subjects in Class 12th.

1. B. Sc. Botany-It is a three year course containing six semesters. A total credit of this course is 120.

2. Complementary Courses-The Department offers complementary courses for B. Sc. Zoology in the first four semesters of these courses.

3. Open Courses-We provide an open course ‘Forestry’ for all Degree students in their fifth semester.

How to get Admission.
Students can get admission through the Centralized allotment procedure by the University of Kerala. The admission is based on the merit of a candidate in Class 12. The candidates have to participate in several allotment rounds conducted by the university to confirm their seats.
