Dr. Ambily C R  now serving as Assistant professor & HoD of Department of commerce, St.Stephen’s College Pathanapuram did her schooling in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kottarakkara. She had completed her Degree in B.com from University of Kerala through S.N College Punalur. For getting Master Degree in Commerce she joined in Department of Commerce University of Kerala and had completed the course with second Rank from the University. As an appreciation for the academic performance she is awarded with Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Human Resource Development for witnessing the Republic Day Parade, 2005 from the Prime Minister’s box at Rajpath, New Delhi as a guest of Hon’ble Prime Minister of  India. She  had completed her B.Ed in Commerce from Mount Tabore Training college Pathananpuram under the university of Kerala. After that she worked as a lecturer in commerce in Mathoma College of Science and Technology, Ayur. She attained Net and JRF in Commerce in 2010 and in 2011 joined in the current institution as a permanent faculty in commerce. Has completed Diploma in Water shed management from IGNOU during 2016. In 2019 she had completed her Ph.D  in commerce from the University of Kerala.She is a life member of Indian Accounting Association
