A very beautiful botanic garden is situated in the campus, which is maintained and managed by Department of Botany. Botanical garden is well maintained by the Department with shade-net house and medicinal plants. Plants of academic and aesthetic interest such as medicinal plants, aromatic plants, ferns, Orchids, anthuriums etc. were grown there.

More than 300 Botanical specimens including whole plants, fruits and seeds are preserved in the Museum. It also contains permanent slides, fossil slides, rock specimens, charts etc. which are useful to relate with the subject area treasured here.
St. Stephen’s College Herbarium is a collection of dried plants established in 1982 under the Department of Botany. The aim of the Herbarium is to make the dried and preserved specimens available to students and researchers in the field of Plant Taxonomy. The Herbarium follows Bentham and Hooker’s classification and accepted botanical names to refer plant species.
