     Myself is Dr. Pournami P, working as Assistant Professor in the PG & Research Department of Zoology, St. Stephen’s College since 2011. I started my professional life as High School Teacher in the General Education Department, Government of Kerala in 2009 and then after two years I joined in this department. I have published 6 papers in journals and books of international and national repute. At present I am a member of Board of Studies (Zoology PASS) in University of Kerala. My areas of research specialization are on environmental biology and biodiversity. I acted as Technical Expert in State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Govt. of Kerala and one of the author for the reference book prepared for school students in Kerala under SCERT. I am functioning as question setter for different autonomous colleges. I have been acting as a resource person in different schools. I attended various national and international seminars and presented papers. I am an alumnus of this department.
