I have completed my doctoral degree and masters in Zoology from the Department of Zoology, University of Kerala. My M.Phil. degree is from the Department of Environmental Science, University of Kerala. I have two years of teaching experience at Kuriakose Elias College Mannanam (F.I.P. vacancy) and one year of experience in AMHS School at plus two levels. I was awarded Rajeev Gandhi National Fellowship in 2016 for doctoral research. I have published two papers, and four papers are already communicated. I have presented one paper at an International conference and three at National seminars. My paper was awarded the best paper award for the National seminar on Ecology and Conservation. My research area is on the conservation aspects of the most celebrated species of Western Ghats – the Nilgiri tahr. My research areas include Ponmudi hills and reported Nilgiri Tahr population status for the first time.
I have served as a conservation biologist in the forest department and as a resource person in the Adventure academy munnar. I have a good association and partnership with Haritha - Eco Development Committee, Vallakkadavu, GREENS - Kottayam and MEWS - Munnar. During my bachelor’s days, I was in the University football team. I was the N.S.S. coordinator at Kerala University. I also served as a senate member of both Kerala and Mahathma Gandhi University. I am a diploma holder in computer applications and am well-versed in editing and publication. During my research tenure, I was associated with different Kerala state biodiversity board projects. I explored the rivers of Kerala for the study of fish diversity. Now I am searching for my realm to use my experiences to serve society in moulding a generation of environmentally responsible citizens.
