I am Roy John, Associate Professor of Mathematics at St. Stephen’s College, Pathanapuram which is affiliated with University of Kerala. My research focuses on graph theory and topology. Over the course of my academic journey, I have cultivated a deep interest in graph topological spaces and I am committed to contributing innovative solutions, theories that can make a study of graph theoretical parameters through topological approach. My primary research interests include chemical graph theory, (which applies graph theory to mathematical modelling of chemical phenomena) algebra and analysis.

I have authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed papers on topics related to graph topology and topological indices, with my work published in national and international journals included in the UGC care list. My research work has been presented in the various national and international conferences.

I completed my M.Sc. Degree in Mathematics at University of Kerala, where I developed foundational knowledge in topology and graph theory. My doctoral research at Department of Mathematics, University of Kerala, focused on graph theoretical parameters through topological approach. I completed my research under the guidance of Dr. G. Suresh Singh, Senior Professor of Mathematics at University of Kerala. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from diverse disciplines, participate in interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to teaching and mentorship activities.

Beyond research, I actively participate in academic and professional communities. Currently, I serve as the head of Department of Mathematics at St. Stephen’s College, Pathanapuram. Also, I am a member of Faculty of Science of the University of Kerala.
